What is the approach to training?

Before I plan anything, I spend time understanding you. That means your lifestyle, current health, sporting history, movement patterns, and goals. Once that picture is clear, athletes go through baseline fitness testing to establish current fitness levels. From there, the plan is curated and delivered weekly, with weekly analysis and feedback from me throughout.

I always put health before performance. Unless you have a solid health foundation, performance has a ceiling and usually a painful one. Technique is reviewed quarterly, and I address coaching needs as they arise, not just when a call is scheduled.

How does online coaching work?

Online coaching allows you to work with me regardless of where in India you are based. You train at your time and place, receive your workouts digitally with full descriptions and demonstrations, and communicate with me through the coaching platform and WhatsApp. Technique analysis is done through video; you record according to specific guidelines, and I send back detailed feedback and instructions.

How do you tailor training plans to individuals?

Through detailed individual assessment first. I understand who you are, what your lifestyle looks like, what your history is, and what your body currently does when it moves. Baseline fitness testing follows. All of that information together is what the training plan is built from, the right intensity, the right volume, structured around your actual life rather than an ideal training week that doesn’t exist for most people.

What are the minimum requirements to start Triathlon training?

You should at least have the ability to perform the following individually but at a stretch:

400 meters proper freestyle

15 mins cycling

15 mins run

What if I don't know how to swim but still want to attempt Triathlon?

You can surely do that, however, your first focus should be learning to swim. Without knowing how to swim, it is difficult for you to build triathlon endurance as well as get exposure to Open waters since you are not confident in your freestyle stroke in the pool in this case.
